Deborah  Musher, PhD

Deborah works with parents and their children to offer guidance, expertise, and calm as they navigate the world of neurodiversity.

Deborah has sat at all seats of the special education table: as a parent, teacher, advocate, and administrator. She guides parents through new diagnoses, makes sense of complicated neuropsychological reports, and helps build positive relationships between families and schools. She coaches parents in their parenting, helping them create an environment of increased calm and predictability in their homes; and she works directly with children to help them work through their big feelings, understand their diagnoses, and know - deeply know - that they are loved for exactly who they are. Deborah’s understanding of children with disabilities and special education law enables her to advocate for what kids need and are entitled to; and her even-keeled disposition and experience as an educator enable her to do so respectfully and effectively.
